Artificial intelligence tools are proliferating at an exponential rate, marking the onset of a groundbreaking industrial revolution. This transformative technology has already begun reshaping our work dynamics, and its momentum is set to intensify rapidly in the months and years ahead. It’s becoming increasingly apparent that those resistant to embracing A.I. will face formidable obstacles to achieving success unless they undertake substantial revisions to their strategies.

I foresee a future characterized by two distinct categories of individuals: those deeply connected to nature and the « source, » and those progressively assimilating A.I. into their lives. Are they truly as different as we think? Absolutely not! Both are essential for cultivating better human beings.

When I think about artificial intelligence, I see it as the ultimate tool for bringing more humanity into our fast-paced and challenging business world. It has the potential to lead us to a paradoxical reality where we are both more technology-driven and more deeply connected to the earth. Let’s take a moment to consider this incredible prospect.

AI is a broad term that refers to computer software that engages in humanlike activities, including learning, planning and problem-solving. Calling specific applications “artificial intelligence” is like calling a car a “vehicle.” It’s technically correct, but it doesn’t cover the specifics. 

The premisses

I started using some apps to help me in the redaction of documents, emails, whatever I wrote some weeks ago, and I have to admit that this helps me quite a lot. In fact, it drastically boosts creativity and puts it in first place, while the apps will write something. As I’m writing this article, I’m using it, of course. Don’t take it wrong, I’m not using it to generate the ideas as many people do now. I let the tools help me to write it faster and better, giving me the ability to stay focused on the ideas I want to show.

What is important is to learn how it works to properly prompt the apps for the best results. Understanding the inner workings of the applications will enable you to optimize their performance and ensure that they deliver exceptional outcomes. This involves delving into the intricacies of their functionality and fine-tuning their operation to meet specific requirements. By comprehensively grasping the mechanisms behind the technology, you can effectively steer the apps toward achieving their full potential.

Practical examples

In the last paragraph here, I have written the first sentence and asked A.I. to generate the rest. Then I adapted it very slightly. The main idea remains mine, and A.I. helps me to detail it as well as I won redaction time.

What’s truly remarkable here is that I can express my thoughts uninhibited, just as I normally would, but with remarkable speed. The real magic happens when you strive to enhance the effectiveness and polish of your writing. You can enlist the help of apps or AI, and in a flash, the quality is significantly enhanced. Suddenly, your focus shifts to analyzing your words and ideas, rather than getting caught up in questions like, « How should I phrase this? » or « Is this the right way to express it? » No! You’re zeroed in on the ideas, allowing your mind to breathe and concentrate on elevating the content.

How this could make a more human way of doing business today and tomorrow?

Many companies, particularly the larger ones, will have to reevaluate the process of their extensive, cumbersome procedures. These processes, which have historically been characterized by bureaucratic red tape and reliance on outdated technologies, are undergoing a transformation. From entry-level employees to top executives, individuals will embrace the opportunity to optimize their daily workflows, leading to a culture of streamlined operations and efficient communication. As we continue to prioritize creative ideas and genuine human interactions, the workspace is poised to become more human-oriented than ever before. This positive shift not only fosters meaningful connections but also fuels a climate of innovation, paving the way for a brighter, more engaging work environment.

More and more creativity

The previous reflection starts with another one, the idea remains but the tools gave me the opportunity to write it in a way I’ve never thought to write it. And what a way, sincere, positive, future-oriented! I loved it. It is here a clear example where the A.I can help to decouple your creativity. I was getting used to say that no ideas are the worst because a bad one could finally lead to a better one than any other just because you let the ideas come, which creates other ideas to come and so on. This thinking has never been so true with A.I in your hands.

Usages in the business

Of course there will be a lot of tools A.I oriented, some will helps to generate text (Quillbot, Wordtune, …), some pictures (Imagine, Midjourney,…), some will helps about organizating meeting and their minutes of (Otter), while others will be process optimized focused. What i see here is time reduction ! As the generative A.I can reduce the time consuming in analytical tasks, what mostly remains ? It is clear to me : Human interactions, creativity and strategy. I you are following me and my articles, you certainly already understood that time and human aspect are on the top of my list when i think about management and the way to lead it. Both are complementary, there is philosophy (The KIASAP) and tools. I’m a way convinced now after using articifial tools that it’s a game changer to optimise people time consumption avoiding bullshit tasks to be done over and over. This will helps people to recover sense in their work as they will do less of these tasks and concentrate more on what really imports.

Challenges

I understand the impact of this drastic change on everyone. The speed at which things are moving can be overwhelming, and many individuals may find it challenging to keep up. It’s crucial to offer support and valuable resources to assist people in adjusting to the evolving situation and guiding them through this period of transition.

Initiating change management related to the adoption of artificial intelligence tools as early as possible is crucial for a smooth transition. By proactively addressing concerns, providing adequate training, and fostering a culture of openness to innovation, organizations can mitigate resistance and accelerate the integration process. This approach not only reduces disruption but also allows employees to familiarize themselves with the new tools gradually, leading to a more seamless and successful implementation.
